Founded in 1950, Growermetal is one of the world's leading manufacturer of security washers, blanked parts according to customer's specification and railway washers. Since its establishment, Growermetal maintained its independence and has been run by the Cattaneo family, turned to the second generation.
The company is located in Calco, 40 km north of Milano, and is present not only on the Italian market but also in Europe and in other regions such as America, Middle East, China and other countries of the Far East.
Growermetal’s sales are approximately 60% to distributors, most in the fastener business and 40% to first or second tier end users, who assemble the washer on their products to sell directly to end users.
Our manufacturing process is developed by in house departments where it is performed: stamps, tooling, blanking, coining, steel wire rolling, cleaning and finish treatments, heat treatment, sorting, 100% optical sorting of all dimensional characteristics of the parts, packaging and shipping.
Thanks to the know-how developed over one half of a century, continuous investment in technology and human resources, Growermetal is able to offer high quality products and service with certified processes according to ISO/TS 16949, UNI EN ISO 9001 and UNI EN ISO 14001.
